Boot Camp with SSISA programme details

Boot Camp with SSISA - is an action-packed programme of themed, fun-filled outdoor training that works the body, mind and spirit.   It caters for 2 different levels of fitness.  Whilst the Boot Camp with SSISA is geared towards  currently  active folk looking for a new challenge, the Lite programme is ideal for those who are not so fit and need some motivation.  It  includes comprehensive health and fitness assessments, three weekly one- hour outdoor sessions run by biokineticists/sports scientists and workshops with SSISA professionals.

Boot Camp workouts are fun, challenging and never boring.  You will work you entire body –physically and mentally and will improve your cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility.

Here is what you can expect:

Strength conditioning using your own body weight, dumbbells, medicine balls, weight bags etc.

Cardiovascular/endurance training in the form of walking, running, skipping, stair climbing, hill training etc.

Circuit training: Combining strength training with short, high intensity cardiovascular exercise.

Agility training:  Using a combination of movement skills such as balance, speed, strength etc.

Speedplay: (Fartlek/interval training) – bursts of high intensity work alternated with periods of light activity or rest.

Core stability: Core muscles help to stabilise the spine & pelvis during functional movements. This includes all abdominal, lower back and glute exercises.

The best part of being in training ,is being able to eat quite a lot and you still lose weight. I don't know about you, but I like my eating. The tricky part is to eat the right food at the right time and in the right quantity. Sounds easy but you will be amazed how easily you can get it wrong.
