Hey SA Men!
Have you been to your local track yet? Well this is not something one thinks of doing very often, but I did this on Saturday! I popped down to the Melkbos 4x4 track, which is the Cape Moto-X club’s race track and what an awesome experience. They had their club race day, where I bumped into an old school friend of mine who’s laaitie was riding. The family atmosphere and the kiddies racing against each other was something to behold, try it, you might just like it even if you don’t ride yourself!
Getting fit for the summer is not easy, especially when winter is bone chilling cold, which we’re having to contend with at the moment. So when a nice day appears, one has to make the most of it, just to get going, and that is what I did Sunday when I went for a ride with my in-law at the Koeberg Nature reserve. Since I pay premium for my electricity, it was nice to know I did not have to pay to go in and ride. Go and find the closest nature reserve and see if they allow you to go for a walk, run, or ride. There is something about a nature reserve that gives you that much needed tranquility.
Talking about sport, do you think the Boks stand a chance against the ego-dented Wallabies? Well done to the Amakosi for a great win against Tottenham Hot Spurs! ABSA Currie Cup started with some highs and lows, I am sure I don’t have to highlight these results for all of you supporters. I know how I feel! Just a shout out to Dylan Stoke (15 years old) who won his moto-x race at Melkbos 4x4, who, with a puncture still managed to win with 3 laps to go, this is a talent for the future!

Change your life, do a Tri-fit course at SSISA!
At the end of last year I nearly drowned in the ocean, I was swimming and swimming and I was going down like a wet blanket. I managed to get my arm up and wave at the life guard to save me. A 15 year old girl came swimming towards me like a fish, I asked her with my last breath if I could stand. She replied TRI!! So I did, and eureka, I am standing waist high in the surf.
